A happy and healthy springtime to everyone here in the beautiful River’s Edge neighborhood. Membership dues are unchanged this year.

Membership fees are $50 for the year or $25 for seniors (both members of the household are 60 or older by May 31, 2023). To pay your dues online click here. Pay by June 1 and you’re automatically entered into two raffles (see below).

Your RECI membership supports your neighborhood and your MEMBER discounts can save you over $185: your membership actually puts money in your pocket!

This year’s early registration date for RECI membership is June 1. Pay your dues before June 1 to receive the full value of all the discounts.

Members Only Raffles: Pay by June 1 and you will also be entered in TWO raffles to win either: two weeks of FREE lawn service from The Yard Artists or “a bucketful of painting supplies” worth over $100 from Sherwin-Williams.

Thank you to all those households here in River’s Edge who renewed or joined the neighborhood association, River’s Edge Commons, Inc. (RECI). And, a special thank you to those households who joined the Association by the June 1 “early bird” deadline.

Four of those early bird households were also lucky households – and each will receive a 2-week “vacation cut” and lawn service, courtesy of one of our business partners, The Yard Artists, making their summertime here in beautiful River’s Edge just a little be nicer!

Notable dates in 2022 for Bainbridge Township can be viewed in this flyer. Household rubbish such as old computers, electronics, furniture, grills etc can be dropped off at the Bainbridge Service Department Auxiliary lot from May 2 – 7 (7:30 am to noon) – Bainbridge residents only. More details are in the flyer.

The need for us all to follow safety precautions and restrictions, coupled with shifting professional and personal responsibilities has made it necessary to postpone the Membership renewal period for your neighborhood association, River’s Edge Commons, Inc. You would normally receive this information around May 1. Please watch for your renewal notices at a later date.

To pay by check – watch for the membership package in the mail for the forms. If you do not receive the membership package (by May 6) or signed up for paperless dues notices and wish to pay by check, please print out and fill this form, then mail it in with your check to the address shown on the form

Bainbridge Township’s clean-up days are upcoming on Friday May 3 and Saturday May 4 from 7:30am to noon at the Service Department on 17800 Haskins Road. You can dispose of various types of items by taking them to the Center on Haskins Road. Please see the attached notice for details.

If you are a senior over the age of 60 and cannot bring your items to the service department Bainbridge Township is partnering with the Geauga Department of Aging to offer free pick up of 10 items or less on April 29, 30 and May 1.  Seniors must register no later than April 22 with the Geauga Department of Aging for the free pick-up.  Details are in the attached notice.

Also, please note that Bainbridge residents can take their paper/cardboard and plastic bottles & cans at any time to the recycling center at the Service Center on Haskins Road.  They won’t take glass and other plastics but it is free and reduces what goes into the landfills.  Open 24/7 so you can stop on your way to somewhere else.

By signing up for paperless dues, you can save trees, reduce mailbox clutter and paper waste as well as reduce association costs which will help keep down membership dues. Currently, mailing and printing costs for dues notices costs the association around $500 annually.

You’ll receive your association dues notices and confirmation letters by email.  You can still pay by check even if you sign up for paperless – a form to pay by check will be included in your dues email.

Receive your dues notices via email, starting this year, if you sign up by April 20, 2019. Signing up for paperless billing requires a login – please register at the website if you haven’t already.  Sign up for paperless billing here (requires login to access the page)

REMINDER – Join the paint experts at the Sherwin-Williams Solon Store (located in the same plaza as Marc’s) for a free in-store seminar and learn “how to paint like a pro.”  It will be from 4-6 p.m. on Wed, May 30. While there, take advantage of your exclusive member discount to get the paint and supplies you need to tackle your home project or talk with one of the professional contractors there about getting that job done for you!
