Bainbridge Recycling Center Accepting Glass for Recycling
The Bainbridge Township recycling center, located adjacent to the service department at 17800 Haskins Road, is once again accepting glass for recycling. As always, glass recycling is limited to glass originally used for packaged food and beverages – NOT items such as wine glasses, drinking glasses, vases, windows and the like. (Good rule of thumb is if it did not originally have a lid on it, it is likely not recyclable.)
Please place all recyclable glass in the proper receptacle at the recycling center and do NOT put glass or any other recyclable items in plastic bags of any kind. Visit the Bainbridge Township website http://bainbridgetwp.com/ for more information about this and other township services.

The thinking is that consolidating trash hauling contractors to a single contractor for the community may offer more recycling options such as curbside recycling and reduce trash truck traffic, but it could also reduce competition for trash hauling.
