Membership Dues and Benefits 2026/27

1 Apr

Happy spring to everyone here in our beautiful River’s Edge neighborhood. If you are thinking that you are receiving this notice earlier than in the past, you are right. To better align your membership payments with the fiscal year of the Association and to allow all vendor discounts to be effective June 1, the membership renewal period has been shifted by a month.

Membership dues are again unchanged this year! RECI is always looking for ways to keep those fees low, and has implemented processes to help do just that:

  • Please consider signing up as a “paperless” household to receive your Dues and Membership information via email. Doing so saves RECI all the costs associated with mailing information.
  • Note that you will receive your membership confirmation information via email, unless you indicate it needs to be physically mailed to you.
  • You can pay using Zelle from your bank’s mobile app or website. Paying via Zelle requires a login to the website. Using Zelle saves RECI the transaction fees charged by PayPal. Although paying by PayPal is still an option, please note that PayPal charges the association a 4.5-5.5% transaction fee for each membership payed. While the association is absorbing that cost this year, it is likely in the future that this fee will be added to the membership fee payed via PayPal.

Membership fees are $50 for the year or $25 for seniors (both members of the household are 60 or older by June 1, 2026). To pay online using Zelle or PayPal click here.

Your RECI membership supports your neighborhood and your MEMBER discounts can save several times over your membership cost: your membership actually puts money in your pocket! Great member discount are offered by our vendor partners (details below)

One of the things that keeps RECI fees so low is that all those involved are volunteers, including the trustees who manage the association. Look for an upcoming Association meeting to bring together RECI members and elect new trustees. Please consider offering up a few hours each year to help keep RECI in sound position. It takes only a little time and is really important for the continuing operation of the Association. To learn a bit more about being a RECI trustee, you can talk with either a current or former trustee – or both! Please contact:
