Bainbridge Recycling Center

The Bainbridge Recycling Center located at 17800 Haskins Road (by the Bainbridge Service Department) accepts a wide range of recyclable materials including glass (bottles and jars), plastics and cans.

There are also bins for cardboard (boxes must be flattened).

Bainbridge Township meeting to discuss Mixed-Use Plan for former Geauga Lake property

Residents are invited to join a special township meeting to learn about the planning for the largest mixed-use development in Geauga County for the former Geauga Lake property (that adjoins the Rivers Edge community), which is taking place right now. You can attend the special meeting at 7pm Feb 16 by Zoom or in person at Bainbridge Town Hall.

New development will keep the memory of Geauga Lake alive

Cleveland Plain Dealer Nov 17, 2020 and Chagrin Valley Today Nov 22, 2020:  The new development on the former Geauga Lake property, which adjoins the Rivers Edge Community includes housing and retail space and is also planned to showcase the amusement park’s history and evoke the nostalgia that many still feel about it.

Bainbridge and Aurora OK joint Geauga Lake economic district – CVT 10022020

Chagrin Valley Today, October 2, 2020:  Bainbridge Township and the City of Aurora have settled on the Geauga Lake Joint Economic Development District.  This paves the way for mixed-use development of about 250 acres the former Geauga Lake property.  Plans for development include residential units, commercial use and 97 acres of parkland.  The Geauga Lake property totals about 650 acres.
